The District 6 baseball and softball playoff fields are set with eight total Heritage Conference teams competing in Class A and Class AA.
In baseball’s opening round, three-seed Marion Center hosts six-seed West Branch, while four-seed Northern Cambria hosts Richland in Class AA. Seven-seed Homer-Center travels to two-seed Mount Union, while eight-seed United takes on top seed Bald Eagle.
In Class A, four-seed Portage hosts five-seed Bishop McCort.
Championship games will be played May 30th at Mount Aloysius.
In Class A softball, eight-seed Portage battles nine-seed Bishop Carrol, with the winner taking on top seed West Branch in the quarterfinals.
For Class AA, third-seed West Shamokin hosts sixth-seed Southern Huntingdon, while fourth-seed Marion Center hosts fifth-seed Cambria Heights. Finally, eighth-seed Homer-Center takes on top seed Bald Eagle.
Championship games are scheduled for June 1st at St. Francis University.
