Six defendants are scheduled to be sentenced today in Indiana County Court.
One of them is an Indiana man who pleaded guilty to drug and weapon violations for an incident in December of 2020. 22-year-old Saige Bowditch was arrested in a drug bust on December 6th of 2020. Indiana County District Attorney Robert Manzi said in a news release that the drug bust was the result of multiple investigations. In the raid on his home, authorities with the Indiana County Drug Task Force found ecstasy along with several firearms that were acquired with fake ID’s, along with $6000 in cash and related drug and marijuana paraphernalia. In February of this year, he entered guilty pleas to charges of manufacture with intent to deliver, three counts of using a false ID to purchase a firearm, possession of an instrument of crime, and possession of marijuana and a controlled substance and of drug paraphernalia.
Others due for sentencing today include:
- Susan Gray of Indiana, who is about to turn 47 years of age. She is charged with one count of retail theft for an incident on September 2nd of last year.
- 28-year-old Rayann Adair Smithula of Pittsburgh. She pleaded guilty to a child endangerment charge in connection with an incident on June 6th of last year.
