The Marion Center School Board will meet tonight for it’s monthly work session.
Along with the regular reports from district administrators, discussion tonight will focus on the budget for not only the district, but for the Indiana County Technology Center. The ICTC budget has been approved by other school districts in the county. The proposed budget for the ICTC comes to $7,271,271, which is a 1.34 percent increase over their budget last year. For Marion Center, their contribution would come to $710,940, which is an increase of $22,144 from last year.
The board will also discuss the first reading of several revised district policies. They range from home education programs to extracurricular participation to emergency preparedness.
The work session starts at 7:00 PM in the McCreary Elementary Cafeteria Annex.
