Indiana Borough Police Chief Justin Schawl has announced that charges have been filed in connection with the shooting last Saturday morning.
Police are charging 19-year-old Donovan Sanders via criminal complaint with carrying a firearm without a license, terroristic threats, reckless endangerment and simple assault. He was identified through the ongoing investigation and follow up interviews. Police say that he was the man who fired the gun inside a home on Wayne Avenue. Police had previously reported that a single gunshot was fired into the ceiling as a fight was going on inside the house. No injuries were reported in relation to the gunshot. The suspect was seen leaving the scene by security cameras.
A warrant has been issued for Sanders’ arrest. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police at 724-349-2121.
