The Indiana School Board will meet tonight and formally accept the resignation of district superintendent Michael Vuckovich.
Vuckovich’s last day will be May 12th as he will take the superintendent’s position in the Windber School District. He arrived in Indiana in 2018, taking over for Dale Kirsch after serving as an interim superintendent, high school principal and assistant principal for the Greater Johnstown School District. The board will also look to promote Director of Education Robert Heinrich to acting superintendent tonight.
Also on the agenda tonight is the acceptance of a settlement offer for Government Entity claims against Juul Labs, the ARIN operating budget and the district’s share of that budget, and the approval of the district’s audit from Kotzan and Associates.
The meeting will start at 7:00 PM tonight at the district board room and will also be streamed online on the district’s website. Click on the link below to go to the district calendar page.
