First responders had an early start to the weekend as a vehicle accident was reported this morning to Indiana County 911.

Initial scanner reports say emergency responders had trouble getting vehicles to the scene due to icy road conditions, which was also the cause of the crash. One woman was entrapped for a short period of time, but she was able to get out of the vehicle on her own. Aside from minor lacerations from broken windows, she did not reportedly suffer any injuries.
Residents are also reporting icy roads in the Cherry Tree and Indiana areas this morning.
