The stage is set for next week’s semifinal round after four Heritage Conference teams came out victorious in the District VI quarterfinals Friday night.
At Duffy Daugherty Field, Northern Cambria’s Peyton Myers surpassed 1,000 receiving yards for the season as he helped the Northern Cambria Colts down the Moshannon Valley Black Knights, 55-28. Jake Slebodnick has the recap from Cat Country 106.3 FM.

Both Northern Cambria and Cambria Heights will clash in one semifinal matchup next Friday at Daugherty Stadium. Coverage information will be made available next week.
At Pat Corrigan Field, the Penns Manor Comets rebounded from last week’s Appalachian Bowl loss by picking up a 21-7 win over Glendale. Todd Marino has the recap from U92.5 FM.
The Comets will host Portage next week in the other Class A semifinal matchup after the Mustangs took down Juniata Valley, 20-6.
In Class AA, West Shamokin saw its season come to an end after falling to top seed Richland, 48-6.
