A brush fire was reported yesterday in East Mahoning Township.
Indiana County 911 reported that the Marion Center and Plumville Fire Departments were dispatched to Route 119 North near White Lane. This marks the 43rd brush fire call made this year in Indiana County.
On top of the bus crash that was reported yesterday in White Township, emergency crews were dispatched for two others. One was at 1:13 Pm on Mahoning Road in South Mahoning Township. That brought out the Plumville Fire Department, Citizen’s Ambulance and State Police. No information has been released on that crash.
The other was at 3:23 PM on Old William Penn Highway in Burrell Township. Blairsville and Black Lick fire departments were dispatched at the time. Black Lick Fire Officials said that the crash was at the intersection of Old William Penn and Colony Boulevard. Two vehicles were involved, and no injuries were reported.
Indiana Firefighters and Citizen’s Ambulance EMTS were also asked to help with a fire on Saltwork Street in Elderton, Armstrong County. That call came in at 10:18 PM.
