A Chicago-based magician is coming back to Western Pennsylvania to help out with a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
(Edd Fairman, the “Wizard of Sorts”)
Armagh native Edd Fairman will be one part of the day-long Family Fall Fest in Brush Valley on Sunday, October 10th. Dubbed “The Wizard of Sorts”, Edd has spent the last 20 years in Chicago perfecting and honing his craft, which is now performed for many different audiences from families to corporate settings to trade shows. Prior to that, he studied acting at Point Park University, but knew from a young age that he wanted to perform magic.
Fairman said that he looked forward to returning home and performing for many of the people who helped him along the way.
Fairman will perform his closeup magic prior to the start of his family-friendly stand up magic show at 4:00 PM. Other activities throughout the day include a puppet show at 2:00 PM, free games and crafts for the kids, and vendors and food trucks will have various items for sale.
The activities start at 1:00 PM at Brush Valley Township Park. For more information on the festival, log on to http://www.familyfallfestival.com/
