At a meeting earlier today (on Wednesday) The Indiana County Commissioners signed off on a partnership agreement with the Army Corps of Engineers.
The agreement concerns phase two of the County Stormwater Management Plan, and the cost of that project, which is $426,000. Adam Czekanski, the Commander of the Pittsburgh District of the Army Corps of Engineers talks about what the agreement will do.
The rest of the money will come from a combination of county allocated funds via Act 13 totaling $80,675, the county Redevelopment Authority funds totaling $50,000, and Planning and Development in-kind staff contributions totaling $82,325.
In other business, the Commissioners approved an agreement of the sale of real estate to transfer the land the Alice Paul House sits on to the charity itself. Audia Boyles of the Alice Paul House said the realization of this goal could not have happened without the support of many individuals.
The Commissioners also approved a change order concerning the ICCAP Food Bank Renovation Demolition Phase to remove additional drywall from all office walls to remove non-code compliant electrical wiring. That will increase the project’s cost by $2,210 to bring the total to $52,785.
