Indiana Borough Police have charged a New Jersey man with public urination for an incident that occurred last Monday. Reports say officers observed 35-year-old Zachary Wilson of Farmington urinating on a sidewalk around 6:18 p.m. along the 00-block of Carpenter Avenue. A citation for public urination was filed through Magisterial Judge Guy Haberl’s office.

One man was arrested following an incident in Indiana Borough on Thursday. Reports say officers observed Dennis Lewis Jr. in the 400-block of Philadelphia Street around 12:34 a.m. and discovered that he had active warrants in Indiana and Cambria counties. When asked to stop, Lewis fled on foot. Officers caught up to Lewis, who resisted arrest, and was taken into custody. Charges of Flight to avoid apprehension, resisting arrest, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct were filed and he was arraigned before Judge Haberl and lodged in Indiana County Jail.

An Arizona man was charged with public drunkenness following an incident on Friday. Indiana Borough officers were dispatched around 9:32 p.m. to the 400-block of Philadelphia Street for reports of an intoxicated man running into the street. The man was later identified as 32-year-old Jace Hill of Alexander, Arizona. He was arrested and released to a sober adult. Charges of public drunkenness were filed through Judge Haberl’s office.

The final incident of the weekend saw officers dispatched to the area of 443 North 4th St. around 2:37 Saturday afternoon for reports of a man stumbling and knocking things down in a convenience store. Indiana Borough officers were dispatched but the man, identified as 35-year-old Joshua Stiffler, fled the store prior to their arrival. He was located in a nearby lawn and was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance to the point where he was a danger to himself. He was cited through Judge Haberl’s office for public intoxication.
