Friday turned into a busy day for Indiana County First Responders.
Indiana County 911 reports that after a minor vehicle accident was reported at 6:40 AM on Friday in Conemaugh Township, Coal Run/McIntyre and Iselin/West Lebanon Fire departments were dispatched to a location on Pounds Road in Young Township around 9:30 in the morning.
Indiana County 911 reported three automatic fire alarm activations on Friday as well. Saltsburg Fire Department was called in to 12:19 PM to a location on Brett Lane in Loyalhanna Township in Westmoreland County for the first activation reported. Indiana Firefighters were dispatched at 3:00 PM to a location on Indian Springs Road for the second activation reported. The third was along Old William Penn Highway in Burrell Township at 7:59 PM. Black Lick and Blairsville firefighters were called in.
Also at 7:10 PM, Plumville and Creekside fire deaprtments were called out to set up a landing zone along Pine Hollow Road. Glen Campbell Fire Department was dispatched at 11:01 PM for a “lines down” call along Logan Road in Banks Township.
A vehicle accident was also reported by Indiana County 911 at 11:57 PM on Maple Street in Cherry Tree Borough. The Cherry Tree fire department and state police were dispatched at the time. No details have been provided yet.
