Indiana County District Attorney Robert Manzi commented on the recent sentencing of a Cherry Tree man on drug-related charges.
Today in Indiana County Court, 44-year-old Evo Boston was sentenced to six months to a day less than two years in Indiana County Jail, along with four years of probation. He was also ordered to pay appropriate fines and court costs. The charges he faced stemmed from two cases where state police supervised a controlled buy of methamphetamine by a confidential informant, and two other purchases made by members of the Indiana County Drug Task Force that totaled seven grams of meth.
Judge Michael Clark ordered that Boston be paroled immediately from his prison sentence, which puts him at the start of his probation.
Manzi congratulated the State Police and the County Drug Task Force for their professionalism in their investigation that lead to the arrest of a drug dealer.
