IUP recently announced that a recent master’s graduate was selected for a teaching assistant award that comes with an international travel opportunity.
On its website, IUP announced that Grace Skarzynski, a May graduate of its Student Affairs in Higher Education master’s program was selected for the 2022-23 Fulbright English Teaching Award. As a recipient, she will work as an English teaching assistant at the Athens College-Hellenic American Educational Foundation in Psychiko, Greece.
Skarzynski’s selection marks the 18th student to win the Fulbright Award and she credits members of the IUP community for inspiring and assisting her during the process.
She will begin her assignment in September and will work until July 2023.
