The Indiana boys track and field team returned to action Saturday at the Butler Invitational and came away with a 6th place finish out of approximately 60 teams in attendance.
Senior Owen Putt led the way for the boys with his 2nd place finish, running a fast time of 49.69. Indiana’s other individual medals came in the pole vault where Charlie Weber placed 3rd with a height of 13-7 and Josh Saurer was 5th at 13-1.
In the relays the squad of Putt, Will Berzonsky, Jon Berzonsky, and Jacob Gill medaled in both the opening and closing relays. In the 4×800 the team ran 8:16.88, which was good for third place. In the 4×400, the boys ran 3:33.10 which was 4th.
After its successful weekend at Butler, the team will return to action next Tuesday with a home section meet versus Greensburg Salem.
