Several plea and sentencing hearings are scheduled for today in Indiana County Court, including sentencing hearings for an Indiana man charged with multiple incidents between 2019 and last year.
Court documents show that 34-year-old Kevin Donald Peterman will go before Judge Michael Clark for his sentencing hearings today. In January of this year, Peterman entered a guilty plea to a charge of simple assault that went back to December 12th of 2019. He had been charged with indecent assault of someone under 16 years of age, but that charge was later changed to simple assault. He also pleaded guilty to stalking in an incident from November of 2020 and to a charge of corruption of minors for an incident on February 26th of last year.
Also going before Judge Clark today is 30-year-old Frank Albert Moose III of Clymer. He is expected to enter pleas today to charges of possession of a controlled substance and of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license and driving without a license. This was for an incident on January 12th of this year in Blairsville, when local police tried to stop Moose, but he lead them on a brief chase through the borough, ending at East Iron Alley. He then tried to flee on foot, but eventually surrendered to police. During the pursuit, police said he threw away a camoflauge pouch that had sixteen stamp bags of heroin and two needles.
