Several plea and sentencing hearings are scheduled today for Indiana County Court, including hearings for a man who is charged in connection with a shooting in August of 2020 and for a man charged with multiple child pornography-related crimes.
Court documents show that 34-year-old Todd Matthew Jakosh will go before Indiana County President Judge Thomas Bianco to enter pleas to two counts of aggravated assault with attempt to cause serious bodily injury and single counts of reckless endangerment, terroristic threats, and criminal mischief-tampering with property connected with the August 7th, 2020 shooting at the Taco Bell in Indiana Borough. Indiana Borough Police were called out at 10:26 AM for a report of shots fired at the fast food restaurant. Police said that Jakosh fired three shots from a handgun at a woman, but those shots missed. Jakosh was later apprehended without incident in White Township. Jakosh will also enter pleas to two counts of criminal mischief-damaging property, along with simple assault and a summary charge of harassment for an incident one month earlier.
Also, 38-year-old Patrick J. Brennan of Saltsburg faces 24 counts each of child ponography and disseminating photos or film of child sex acts along with a single count of criminal use of a communications facility. The charges stem from an incident on February 13th of 2021.
Several sentencing hearings are scheduled for today as well. Many of them are for drug-related crimes, but one will be for 50-year-old Denise Rose Williams of Glen Campbell, who was charged with retail theft by under-ringing merchandise at the register of a store in January of 2020.
