The Indiana School Board is scheduled to meet tonight, and several athletic-related items will be on the agenda.
The board will look to approve a three-year agreement with Gregory Lezanic as the district’s athletic director, and based on the recommendation of the academic and extracurricular committee and the policy and personnel committee that the administration will be authorized to post and advertise for an assistant athletic director for the next school year, and to interview candidates for the position. The board will also look to hire head coaches for football and volleyball.
The meeting tonight starts at 7:00 at the District Boardroom, and will also be streamed through the district’s website.
The Purchase Line School Board will also meet tonight, and on the agenda is the approval of the renewal of the contract for Superintendent Shawn Ford for a five-year term that will end on June 30 of 2027. The board will also officially accept the resignation of football coach JohnAllen Snyder, who was hired in February to take the head coaching position. There has been no word on why he resigned.
