UPDATE: Mamadi Saccoh pleaded guilty to a felony count of Robbery in the first degree. He will remain in Indiana County Jail while a pre-sentencing investigation is carried out. His sentencing is set for April 11th at 8:30 AM.
WHAT WE PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:
One of the people charged in connection with the Valentine’s Day 2020 shooting along Wayne Avenue will enter pleas this morning in Indiana County Court.
According to court documents, 22-year-old Mamadi Saccoh of Philadelphia will go before Indiana County President Judge Thomas Bianco. Saccoh faces two counts of robbery, theft, receiving stolen property, conspiracy to those charges and conspiracy to aggravated assault in connection with the robbery and shooting at two student rental homes on Wayne Avenue. Saccoh was with Daron Reel, Nafis Harper and Samuel Wilson on the night of the shooting. The four had gone to take drugs from of the rental homes, but got the wrong house at first. When they went to a second house, Reel shot one of the occupants. That man survived his injuries.
Both Wilson and Harper were sentenced to three-to-six years in prison for guilty pleas to robbery, while Reel was sentenced to three to 10 years in prison.
