Indiana Borough Police have charged an Indiana woman with multiple incidents of theft by deception and retail theft that happened over a week’s time at an Indiana convenience store.
Police say that they were called out to the Sheetz at 4th and Philadelphia Streets to investigate multiple thefts on February 4th, 8th and 9th. It was discovered that 29-year-old Dana Findley had taken some merchandise without paying for it and returned it to get cash refunds on the 4th, 8th and 9th. In a separate incident on the 9th, she was seen taking merchandise from the same store and leaving without paying for it. No word on what she stole.
Criminal complaints were filed for the theft by deception charges, and a non-traffic summary citation for retail theft was filed through District Judge Guy Haberl’s office.
