In Indiana County Court today, Indiana County President Judge Thomas Bianco will conduct a hearing on a motion to modify the sentence against 38-year-old Robert Rout III of Indiana, who in September pleaded guilty to twenty counts of possession of felony child pornography and a single misdemeanor count of indecent exposure.
The charges involve a case investigated in August of 2020 when a mentally disabled person reported that he had been molested by Rout at a home in White Township. In the course of the investigation, police discovered images of child pornography on a laptop computer.
Rout was sentenced December 21st to three month to two years less a day in prison for each count, to be served concurrently. He must also register as a Megan’s Law offender.
Rout’s attorney filed the motion to modify the sentence on December 29th.
