Despite rain showers and a threat of stronger rain fall, the annual Love of Life 5k was a success for the Indiana Regional Medical Center.
The run kicked off on 8th Street today with IUP’s ROTC leading the charge as runners and walkers made their way towards IRMC and Mack Park and back. Heather Reed of the Indiana Healthcare Foundation said that 510 runners were present this morning and their support will definitely help with breast cancer treatment at IRMC’s Women’s Imaging Center.
Virtual runners have until October 31st to complete their runs for the fundraiser, but among those present today, the top runners were Charlie Weber in the men’s division (18:27) and Olivia Henning (19:47)
