Several plea court hearings are scheduled for today in Indiana County Court, including one for a former District Court Judge who was charged with DUI.
48-year-old Jennifer Rega will go before Senior Judge Timothy Creany today for a plea court hearing connected with a DUI case in December of 2020. She faces two counts each of DUI, endangering the welfare of children and reckless endangerment along with multiple summary traffic violations for an incident on December 7th of 2020. State Police had pulled over her car at the intersection of North Walnut Street and Spruce Street and detected the smell of alcohol on her. A man and two children were in the car at the time.
Another person due in court today is 34-year-old Kevin Peterman of Indiana, who will enter pleas in three cases. In a case that goes back to December 12th, 2019, he is charged with indecent assault of a person under the age of 16. The second case is from November 15th of 2020, and he was charged with misdemeanor stalking and summary harassment by following in a public place, and on February 26th of this year, he was charged with interference with the custody of children and corruption of minors, both misdemeanors.
And Summer Leigh Marana will also be in court for three plea court hearings today. The earliest case goes back to October of last year, when the 22-year-old from Saltsburg was charged with theft of services, criminal mischief, possession of drug paraphernalia, and burglary. She was also charged with theft in February of this year, and with possession of a controlled substance and of drug paraphernalia in May of this year.
