After being cancelled last year because of Covid-19 related issues, IUP’s Homecoming week starts with the meeting of the Indiana Area Collaborative Team, better known as I-ACT.
The excitement of a return to in-person activity was felt and expressed by I-ACT Co-Chair and IUP President Dr. Michael Drsicoll.
Representatives from Indiana Borough and the State Police reaffirmed their commitment to be ready for the weekend’s festivities, including the annual return of the police horses from the State Police.
While Homecoming is meant to be a celebration for all alumni, Jennifer Dunsmore, the assistant VP for alumni and constituent engagement at IUP said that they are going to pay tribute to the class of 2020 with some special events at the Crimson Huddle.
As part of that, Class of 2020 Alumni will get free tickets to the Crimson Huddle event and the football game, and they will also get some free giveaway items and a chance to put on the cap and gown and have their graduation photo taken at a special photo booth.
