There are many plea and sentencing hearings scheduled for today in Indiana County Court and almost all of them are related to DUI, while one is focused on a woman accused of child endangerment and drug-related crimes.
A plea hearing is set for today for 32-year-old Alicia Brumbaugh of Burnside in Clearfield County. Police were initially called on November 11th of 2019 for a report of a missing woman and children, who had been last seen that day at 4:00 AM. Around 11:30 PM, a relative said she saw her in the parking lot of the Walmart in White Township. When the search came up negative, they released a description of the vehicle involved.
The next morning, someone recognized the vehicle in Armstrong Township and called 911. Police pulled the vehicle over at the intersection of Routes 422 and 286. Troopers discovered no evidence that showed she was taken against her will, but when a search of the vehicle and her purse was conducted, police found suspected meth and drug paraphernalia.
Two children were in the vehicle with her. They would be placed in their father’s care. Meanwhile the driver, David Lee Decker, was held on an arrest warrant and was placed in the custody of the PA Board of Probation and Parole.
Her plea court hearing is set for 8:30 this morning before Indiana County President Judge Thomas Bianco.
