The Indiana Area School District posted another positive case of covid-19 yesterday, in a student at Ben Franklin Elementary School. Two more students must be quarantined as a result.
The Indiana Area rolling count is currently at 19; six at the Senior High, nine at the Junior High/Eisenhower Elementary, two at Ben Franklin, one at East Pike Elementary, and one at the Central Administration office. Because of masking, the district is able to limit the number of additional students exposed and all buildings remain open.
Penns Manor reports a new case, in an employee at the elementary school. No one else was in close contact with the employee, who was last in school last Friday.
Marion Center reported three new cases at the high school on Wednesday and two at the McCreery school. The district showed a total of 58 others quarantined at its three buildings.
In the Armstrong School District, students return to the classroom at West Shamokin today after two days of remote instruction. The district closed the Armstrong, Lenape Elementary, and West Hills Intermediate schools for yesterday and today because of ongoing covid concerns.
