INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana Borough Police are seeking more information on a confrontation over the weekend at a house on South Street. Police discovered a large group tried to start a fight with residents and guests at a house in the 700 block that resulted in someone throwing a chair at the front door of the house. The main aggressor from that group was described by police as a black man wearing a black Pirates hat backwards on his head, had a black eye and had his hair in dreadlocks. He was also seen wearing jeans and a white t-shirt. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-349-2121.
Indiana Borough Police charged an Indiana man with drug-related crimes that stemmed from a traffic stop on August 20th. Police say that the traffic stop went down at 7:55 PM in the 100 block of North 5th Street. During the stop, officers found drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance. One person, 21-year-old Devin Miller, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and traffic-related offenses.
Police in Indiana Borough have charged an Indiana man with public drunkenness for an incident early in the morning of August 22nd. Police say 32-year-old Osamh Mohammad Baralyan of Indiana was found by police passed out in his parked car in the 600 block of Philadelphia Street. Charges were filed through district Judge Guy Haberl’s office.
