Two sentencing hearings are scheduled for today in Indiana County Court.
One of the hearings is for 61-year-old Ronald J. Ziruolo of Blairsville. He was charged with two counts of terroristic threats and resisting arrest, and one count of disorderly conduct and aggravated assault. The charges stem from an incident that happened on November 20th of last year. The aggravated assault charge was later dismissed at a lower court, and he entered a guilty plea to the remaining charges on May 28th.
The other hearing is for Joseph Alexander Malenich, a 41-year-old Stongstown man, who was charged on July 20th of last year with two counts each of endangering the welfare of children and reckless endangerment, with single charges of public drunkenness and careless operation of an ATV. On May 20th, he would enter a guilty plea to one count of child endangerment.
Both hearings are set for 8:30 this morning in front of Indiana County President Judge Thomas Bianco.
