The Pirates losing streak is at seven games after a lost weekend in Milwaukee.

The Pirates’ Colin Moran left the game with lower back spasms suffered while running the bases in the second inning. Moran just returned to the lineup on Friday after getting hit on the hand by a pitch on Wednesday against the Dodgers. He also missed almost a month of action with a groin injury suffered May 9th.
The Bucs move on to Washington for a three-game series starting tonight. The Pirates’ JT Brubaker faces the Nationals’ Jon Lester. 6:40 airtime on WCCS.
Adam Frazier’s tremendous season at the top of the batting order is drawing interest from potential trade partners with the Pirates. Frazier leads Major League Baseball with 85 hits this season and is fifth in batting average at .336. The Athletic and MLB Network analyst Jim Bowden says the White Sox are a possibility, with their second baseman Nick Madrigal on the 60-day injury list. The Yankees are also rumored to be interested in Frazier.
