TRESPASSING
Indiana Borough Police have charged a Turtle Creek man for trespassing following an incident last Tuesday. According to reports, 26-year-old Elvin Hiran Montero-Martinez had returned to a business along the 300-block of Philadelphia St., that officers say he was previously banned from. Charges against Montero-Martinez were filed through District Judge Guy Haberl’s Office.
SIMPLE ASSAULT/HARASSMENT
Borough police in Indiana also report that a Philadelphia man was taken to Indiana County Jail following an incident on Friday. Police were dispatched to the 400-block of South 6th St. shortly after 4:30 p.m., and they say 23-year-old Jordan Blake had assaulted a woman who was pregnant.
Blake was arrested and taken to Indiana County Jail shortly after officers arrived on scene and he was arraigned by Judge Susanne Steffee.
PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS
Lastly, Indiana Borough Police report that an Indiana man was charged for public drunkenness after officers responded to an incident in Indiana Borough on Saturday.
Reports say 34-year-old Nestor Nshimiyimana caused a disturbance along the 00-block of North 5th St. and when officers arrived, they found that he was under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into police custody and charges were filed through District Judge Guy Haberl’s office.
