Indiana Borough Police have charged a Blairsville man with loitering and prowling following an incident on April 28. Reports say officers were dispatched to a home along the 700-block of South St. in Indiana following reports of a man following women in the area. Upon investigation, police identified the man as 27-year-old Austin Wolf.
Charges against Wolf were filed through District Judge Guy Haberl’s office.

Indiana Borough Police also report two incidents of public drunkenness on Saturday. The first was reported shortly before midnight where 48-year-old Daniel Nickerson of Nanty Glo was found to be under the influence of alcohol along the 00-block of North 8th St. in Indiana.
The next happened shortly after 10:30 p.m., where borough police in Indiana responded to an incident along the 700-block of Wayne Ave. and found 22-year-old Matthew Sipirano of Millvale under the influence of alcohol. A non-traffic citation was filed against Sipirano.
Charges for both men were filed through District Judge Guy Haberl’s office.

Indiana Borough Police are also looking to identify those responsible in an incident of criminal mischief. Reports say that between 4:00 p.m. on April 29th and 7:00 a.m. on April 30th, a large street sign was uprooted and left inside an apartment building along the 500-block of Gompers Ave. in Indiana.
