The Indiana County Drug Task Force is getting ready for their annual drug takeback day to be held in both Indiana and Blairsville tomorrow.
Both Diamond Drug in Downtown Indiana and the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Blairsville will have drug takeback boxes along with members of the task force in attendance. They will accept and prescription or over the counter medicine that is unused, unwanted or expired, along with any vaping materials.
Indiana County District Attorney Robert Manzi said that efforts like this are important as it takes drugs out of an extremely accessible place.
Both boxes will be available on Saturday from 10-2.
