Indiana shutout Freeport, 4-0, on Wednesday to continue its perfect season and to cement its spot in the Penguin Cup Final.
Tanner Agnello gave the Little Indians an early lead in the first period after netting a slap-shot within the first five minutes of the period. Korbin Wilson would net an insurance goal before the end of the period. Orlando Clark put the game out of reach with two goals – one in both the second and third periods.
Ben Nettleton would earn two points after tallying a pair of assists and Seamus O’Connor would net 24 saves in front of the goal.
Indiana will now face either Kiski Area or Chartiers Valley in the championship game. It is scheduled for Monday, April 19 at 9 p.m., with the game being played at the Robert Morris Island Sports Center.
