In District 6 boys’ 3A action Thursday evening, the eighth-seeded Marion Center Stingers fell to the LHAC champion Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders in Altoona, 71-40.

The Stingers finish their season with an overall record of 10-10 and a conference record of 9-8. The Marauders will now face the fourth-seed Richland Rams on Tuesday in the District 6 3A semifinal matchup.

In the girls’ 2A bracket, seventh-seed Penns Manor takes on Southern Huntingdon. That game can be heard on U92.5 FM beginning at 6:45 p.m.
Meanwhile the fifth-seed United Lions look to upset the Bishop McCort Crushers. That game can be heard on Cat Country 106.3 FM beginning at 6:45 p.m.
ON SATURDAY:
In the boys’ 2A bracket, two Heritage Conference teams will face-off in semifinal action as the West Shamokin Wolves look to stay perfect against the Penns Manor Comets. Airtime is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. on U92.5 FM.
In the other semi-final game, the third-seed United Lions take on the second-seed Portage Mustangs. That game can be heard beginning at 6:45 p.m. on Cat Country 106.3 FM.
