On Tuesday night, the White Township planning commission gave conditional approval for an expansion at a local veterinary hospital.
The board approved a final site plan for an expansion on the Indiana Emergency Veterinary Hospital on Indian Springs Road. Assistant Township Manager Chris Anderson talked about what Dr. Yogi Misra will do with the expansion.
The final site plan was given conditional approval, pending the addition of storm water controls and landscaping additions.
The commission also reorganized before the start of the meeting. Ted Kuckuck was named the new chairman of the planning commission, with Dennis Roumm as the vice-chairman. The board also thanked former chairman Bob Begg, who retired from the board after serving 32 years on the commission.
