The Indiana County Court schedule today includes the first Criminal Call sheet of the new year, and it’s a heavy load.
There are quite a few notable cases on the list, including the Matthew Bartlebaugh homicide case. He’s accused of shooting his father to death on New Year’s day last year,
Dylan Dalessio’s multiple arson and related cases are on the Criminal Call list, and so is his father, Douglas’s case. Both father and son are accused of intimidating a witness, and Dylan has five arson cases and an insurance fraud case.
The four Philadelphia-area suspects in a robbery and shooting last Valentine’s Day along Wayne Avenue are all scheduled for Criminal Call today. Daron Reel, Jr., Nafis Harper, Mamadi Saccoh, and Samuel Wilson all face numerous charges of robbery and related offenses, aggravated assault or conspiracy to that offense, and Reel is charged with attempted homicide for shooting a tenant at one of the two rented houses the four men invaded. The victim survived.
Also on the list today are the two robbery cases against Frank Williams IV and Spencer Hayes, two Philadelphia men accused of a home invasion robbery on Center Street in White Township last June along with a third man, Thomas Lindsey of Indiana. The defendants were allegedly looking for drugs and money in the robbery. Williams and Hayes were captured the day after the robbery following a car and foot chase in Indiana Borough and White Township. Lindsay, who is also accused of shooting at a man on North Third Street in Indiana, is scheduled for Criminal Call next month.
There are 169 cases up for review today, and although they are on the schedule, the majority of them will most likely not see any action. Criminal Call often involves a request for continuation but on rare occasions there is a plea entered by the defendant.
