The Pennsylvania Department of Health is planning an update on the Covid-19 pandemic today.
At 11:30 this morning, PA Secretary of Health Dr. Rachael Levine will hold a news conference to discuss the status of Covid-19 in Pennsylvania and she is also expected to provide an update on the early warning monitoring dashboard. This comes as Coronavirus vaccines from Pfizer are expected to head to nursing homes to be given to staff and residents. About 70 percent of coronavirus-related deaths in Pennsylvania have involved residents at skilled nursing facilities.
The news conference will begin around 11:30 today and we will have the news conference live on WCCS AM 1160 and 101.1 FM.
