The Pennsylvania State Police scratched a name off their five most wanted list today. Monty Gene Smith, 36, of Saltsburg, PA, was captured today by the Pinellas County (FL) Sheriff’s Office and was jailed in the Pinellas County Jail pending extradition to Pennsylvania.
Smith was charged on Sept. 4 with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and three summary vehicle code violations following an Aug. 31, 2020 traffic stop in Indiana Borough.
Magisterial District Judge Guy B. Haberl had issued a warrant for his arrest.
