An Indiana man is facing assault charges after a late-night incident on Monday.
Indiana Borough Police reports say that around 9:15 p.m., officers responded to a call at 610 Maple Street in Indiana, where they discovered 35-year-old Shaun Harris of Indiana assaulted an unidentified person. Harris was charged with simple assault and harassment through District Judge Guy Haberl’s office, and a preliminary hearing has not been scheduled yet.

Borough police are also asking for the public’s help in identifying the person responsible in an incident of theft that occurred sometime between Friday, August 21, and Tuesday, August 25.
Reports say that a red Honda EU-2000 generator – that was attached to a large digital display sign – was stolen along the 100 block of Philadelphia Street. Anyone with information is urged to call 349-2121.
