Pennsylvania State Police Liquor Control Enforcement Officers visited 1,190 licensed liquor establishments from Friday, August 7 through Sunday, August 9 to ensure businesses are abiding by COVID-19 mitigation requirements that include social distancing, masking and other health and safety requirements of the liquor code.
The Punxsutawney Office, which covers Jefferson, Clearfield, Indiana and Clarion conducted 36 license checks. They gave two warnings for COVID 19 mitigation efforts and issued no violations.
Yesterday our affiliate in Punxsutawney, WPXZ, spoke with Sargent Shawn Fisher, District Office Commander for the Bureau Liqueur Control Enforcement (BLCE), based out of Punxsutawney.
WPXZ asked him about the enforcement of the PLCB’s code for restaurants, bars and clubs.
