Following a three-day search, an Indiana man is in police custody after threatening state police officers and violating an existing Protection From Abuse order.
Reports say that 39-year-old Tobias Tiemeyer Wright was found by the United States Marshal Service, along with the assistance of the Pennsylvania State Police Fugitive Task Force yesterday in Ohio and taken into custody.
Prior to the arrest, police issued warrants for Wright’s arrest following a series of incidents on Tuesday. Reports say that at approximately 5:04 p.m., Wright contacted PSP Troop-A in Indiana by phone nearly 40 separate times, during which he threatened PSP employees and members.
He was charged afterwards with terroristic threats, harassment, obstructing emergency services and disorderly conduct, and a warrant for his arrest was issued that evening.
Additional warrants were issued for Wright’s arrest after three PFA violations and a terroristic threat incident were reported in White Township on Tuesday.
A preliminary hearing for Wright is pending his extradition to PA.
