State police crime reports today include a drug case in Indiana Borough. Police say they seized stolen prescription bills and suboxone from 32-year-old Joshua Stiffler of Armagh during a traffic stop June 1st at North 4th Street and Shryock Avenue. The victim of the theft was 51-year-old Collins Stiffler of Indiana.
Police investigated a criminal mischief incident that was discovered early Tuesday in Brush Valley Township. A 70-year-old man who loves along Route 56 reported to police that someone had gotten into two unlocked trucks and damaged the steering columns on both of them. There are no neighbors nearby or security cameras on the property.
29-year-old Vernon Hazlett of Cherry Tree was cited for disorderly conduct (fighting), reckless driving, driving while suspended, and lane violations on Sunday afternoon after police were alerted to a reckless driving incident on Cherry Tree Road in Montgomery Township. The victims were a 51-year-old woman and 14-year-old girl who were in the vehicle with Hazlett.
Police were dispatched to a home on Maple Street in White Township last night for a reported disturbance. They say 24-year-old Tara Braun of Indiana had engaged in an altercation with a 35-year-old woman and in the process of trying to start a fight, had pushed an air conditioner out of a window frame and into the home. Braun will be cited with disorderly conduct.
