Tuesday night, the White Township Planning Commission gave conditional approval for the site of the Westmoreland County Community College and the Allegheny Challenger Learning Center at the ICTC Property.
The property will be less than two acres in size, but will house the branch campus of WCCC and the first Challenger center in Pennsylvania. The project has been in the works since 2013 and Byron Stauffer of the Office of Planning and Development said that the project itself has seen a lot of twists and turns.
Stauffer said that he expects the project to be put out for bid this summer.
