Members of the Indiana Fire Association were called out this morning for the smell of something burning at the Med Express/Sherwin-Williams building on Oakland Avenue.
Fire crews along with Citizens Ambulance and the RIT team were dispatched at 9:42 this morning to 2126 Oakland Avenue after the smell of something burning was reported. Both the businesses were evacuated. No fire was showing, and crews found a bird nest had burned in one of the rooftop HVAC units.
No injuries were reported.
