Indiana County Census Officials are continuing to push to get the word out about replying to the census.
As of Friday, Indiana County has a 41.6% response rate for the 2020 Census, while the state-wide response rate is at 46%. Josh Krug of the Indiana County Office of Planning and Development said that exposure is one of the difficult things with the census.
Stephanie Walters of Indiana Borough’s zoning and code enforcement office said that they have had to change tactics due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
County residents are encouraged to complete the census, either online, over the phone or by mail as soon as possible.
