Area Companies and organizations have stepped up with support of area hospitals, including Indiana Regional Medical Center.
Renda Broadcasting News talked to Jim Barker, spokesperson for Rosebud Mining Company who confirmed that Rosebud Minding has donated hundreds of masks to three area hospitals including Indiana Regional Medical Center, Punxsutawney Area Hospital, as well as Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.
We have also confirmed that Indiana County Technology Center has donated masks and gowns to IRMC.
Mark Richards, Vice President of Marketing & Public Relations told us that IRMC is humbled by the support, and he told us about what items are welcome:
Richards emphasized that presently Indiana Regional Medical Center is in a good position, but if and when cases impact its operation, they need to be ready and there can never be an overabundance.
If you are able to assist the hospital, you can call them at (724) 357-7188 or email IRMC at INFO@INDIANARMC.ORG.
You’ll also find information on the Indiana Regional Medical Center Facebook Page, and we have shared this info to our Renda Broadcasting Facebook Pages as well.
