IUP has made the decision to suspend all face-to-face instruction for the rest of the semester and switch to a digital format in light of concerns over the Coronavirus.
Online classes are set to resume today, and all remaining classes will take the week to make the transition to online to be ready to go on March 23rd. Undergrad and graduate students completing study at off-campus sites should follow the instructions of their faculty advisor.
Students in residence halls are asked to get their belongings out of the residence halls and check out by March 21st. More details will be sent to the students later today. Students in emergency situations who need to remain on-campus can contact Dr. Tom Segar, the vice president of student affairs.
Once again, IUP is saying that they are not closing for the year, as teachers will continue to work and the business office will be open as scheduled.
