Surveillance tools have become essential for retail businesses to combat shoplifting and we have two theft cases to report this morning, both of which come with pictures of the suspects.
The Indiana Giant Eagle store has released an image of a woman suspected of stealing about $250 worth of merchandise on February 25th. Store officials say the middle-aged woman put the Health & Beauty Care items in her purse and exited the store without paying for them.
If you can help identify the woman, Giant Eagle asks that you contact state police or the store’s Loss Prevention Department.
The other report today comes from state police, who are seeking information on two thefts involving two women at the White Township Walmart store. Police say the women stole food and grocery items with a combined value of $350.40 on February 22nd at 12:19 AM and on February 26th at 7:03 PM. The women fled each time in a red Nissan Rogue SUV.
If you know anything about the suspects, please call state police at 357-1960 and ask for Trooper Lenze.
