In Indiana County Court today, there are jury trials scheduled for a number of defendants, including one for drug offenses.
20-year-old Fodie Camara of Indiana is charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and two counts each of possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A felony charge of possession with intent to deliver was disposed of in magisterial district court.
53-year-old Mark Hower of Indiana will face trial for two counts of retail theft.
56-year-old Allison McCoy-Jones of Indiana will stand trial for criminal trespass-tampering with property.
20-year-old Tamya Amber Johnson of Philadelphia will stand trial for retail theft.
Also today, Judge Michael Clark will preside over a non-jury trial for 25-year-old Benjamin Polando of Johnstown, who is charged with contempt for a violation of a court order or agreement.
Judge Thomas Bianco will conduct a hearing on a motion to dismiss a charge of failure to comply with counseling against 44-year-old Thomas Henson of Homer City. He previously pleaded no contest to that charge but withdrew the plea in December. Should Judge Bianco not dismiss, Henson’s trial will be held today.
