Harsh road conditions have been blamed for three crashes in the northern Indiana County area. State police from Punxsutawney say that all three of the crashes happened on November 10th. The first was a hit-and-run that was reported around 7:00 AM. An unknown vehicle hit a guide rail end on Route 210 before leaving the scene.
The second crash that morning was at 7:41 AM as Angela Horner of Yatesboro as driving North on Route 954 when her Jeep Patriot lost control on a right turn. The Jeep slid across the southbound lane and hit the guide rails three times. The Jeep then hit the bridgetwoce before coming to a stop.
Another crash was reported on November 10th, this one was around 8:00 AM as due to the high wind and slippery conditions, a car went off the road and hit a guide rail. The car came to final rest on the northbound lane of Route 210. The driver was not identified.
